Fumbled the Snap!

HllllllllllSTOK! SOK SZERETETTEL KOSZONTELEK BENETEKET
Herro everybody! How are y'all doing?
It is so good to hear all these stories. I am glad to hear about the good things going on in the ward. What an example Sister G. was! That is the kind of thing that the Savior would do.
Oh, guess what? I GOT ALL THE MAIL AND ALL THE PACKAGES!! Thank you all so much! That meant a lot that you all sent me that stuff! THANK YOU!
Giacalone is sitting by my side. I AM SO GLAD WE GET TO SERVE TOGETHER. Seriously, I am so glad he is here in this city with me. What a great man.
Okay, so this week I kept a detailed record of some of the funny/good things that happened to us this week. That will be what my email is about this week:

*So we met this old Bacsi and he doesn't quite understand/remember things well. So one of the Elders that used to be here he calls "his friend" because he never learned his name. So out of the blue, he asks where he went and we said that he went to Pecs and he just giggled to himself and said, "Csunya fiu." Which means, "what an ugly boy" LOL too funny.
*We had zone training this week and one of the Elders (a total hipster) gave us "Happy Tips". These included getting a nice rug for your shoes, getting nice socks and laughing when things are funny.
*The other day, I went to grab a card out of my jacket to street a man and I dropped it right as the guy was about to walk by. Elder Brown said I "fumbled the snap!" (The only football play Neely Elder will play!)  LOL.
*We went to find this lady that had met with the missionaries in the past. She said she never wanted to meet again (okay, rude) and said, "Szep estet kivanok!" which means like, have a good night! Mission life can be tough sometimes. Oh well.

So a couple of things: 1. Thanksgiving is coming and I am sad that I am not home, but we are going to have dinner as a city, so it will be okay :)   2. I AM SO EXCITED TO TALK TO Y'ALL AT CHRISTMAS TIME. 3. My favorite scripture as of late is Ether 12:27. Read it and then read every single foot note. It has helped me a lot this last week. I love you all so much and I hope you have the best of all weeks possible :)

KAPOSVAR!

Neely Elder and Giacalone Elder on their way to Kaposvar.
Having great experiences!

We had to go to Kaposvar by ourselves and it sucked
because ALL THE LUGGAGE IN THE WORLD SO MANY
POUNDS!!

Szervusztok!
This will be super short. I am sorry. This week has been really good.
I AM IN KAPOSVAR! Oh my goodness this is crazy! I love it here though, it is super nice. It is definitely different than Sopron. The work is just different in different cities. Different people, different branches, different peksegs. (BAKERY! This would only be noticed by my son!)  The list goes on and on. It is still nice though. Also: I have no idea where anything is. LOL That is a change from knowing every inch of Sopron. I love my companion Elder Brown. He is such a chill and awesome person.  I love having Giacalone here again :) it is so much fun. By the end of this transfer, we will have served around or with each other for a total of 28 weeks :) Cool. We have two sets of Elders here and the other set is a tripanionship! We also have a Senior Couple named the Colleges! They are from down our way! Yay! Cool!
A big holler at my Grandma and Nanny!! Tell them Hi! and I love them!
It is wonderful to have the knowledge that we can live together after this life. That death is not the end! This is why I love this Gospel. It gives us hope in times of trials. Comfort, when we don't really know how to function.
I love you all so much and I am so grateful to be a part of this family and to be serving here in Kaposvar on Hungary :) I love this opportunity to sacrifice and to truly learn to miss and love people.
      Vigyazzatok a magatokra!

Kaposvar!!

Hi.
Holy. Cow. I. I Just. Wow.
Okay, so I am getting transferred. I am going to Kaposvar and I will be serving with Elder Brown. I am replacing Godderidge Elder who was in my MTC group. Goddridge Elder is coming to Sopron and replacing Giacalone Elder. Giacalone Elder is also going to Kaposvar. de Vries Elder is training. THIS TRANSFER IS GOING TO BE THE CRAZIEST.
I have loved serving with de Vries Elder and I am sad to be leaving him. He is such a great guy and such a fantastic missionary!
I am really excited to be going to my new area.
I love Sopron. I love Sopron. I love these people. I...I can't even use words. Sopron is home. It is home. It is like leaving home again. These people have become my family. I will miss them so much. I will return here. I am excited to go on to new adventures and new experiences, but I am also terrified. A quote that I have come to love this transfer is actually a compilation of quotes from three sources. The first source is Amanda Harris. The second source is the movie Warm Bodies. The third source is Elder deVries:
"While the unknown is first and foremost an adventure, the unknown is also scary. But what good thing didn't start out scary at first? What is the worst that could happen?"
I know I was meant to come to Hungary. I know that I was meant to serve in Sopron. I know that I have been called of God. I know that this Gospel is true. I know that Jesus Christ did live and die for us and I know that through Him we can be saved. This new thing is scary, but what good thing didn't start off scary at first? I was scared when I first came to Sopron. I was terrified. But I came to love it with all my soul.
I am looking forward to the future and I am excited. Things will always change.
I love you all so much. So much. I say that to all of you: those at home, those in Sopron, those friends and family members that I love so much. So much. I love all of you. I pray for you every single day.
     Minden jot! Vigyazzatok a magatokra!
        Sok szeretettel,
            Neely Elder
P.S. Sorry this is so short. Time is short today!

SZERVUSZTOK!

Hello everybody! This week has been stellar. I am sorry, but this may be rather short and lame. Sorry/Not sorry.
This week we went to Zone Conference. It was so stellar! We got to listen to Elder and Sister Texiera. and it was super awesome. I definitely learned a lot and received a lot of revelation. It was great.
We had so many people at church this past Sunday! It was so good and I have never been so happy.  It felt like everyone in the family had come home :)  It was such a beautiful experience.
Transfers are coming really fast and odds are I will be transferred, but hey, We will see.
The gospel changes people. Christ's atonement is real and it works miracles! I am so grateful to be a missionary. I am so grateful to have this time to change and to learn and to grow. Such a wonderful opportunity!
Like I said, this rather sucks, but my time is very limited.
I love you all so much and I pray for you everyday!
            Sok szeretettel,
               Neely Elder

P.S. En szerintem, a hideg JON. Vigyazzatok a magatokra!
