Four Tons of MANURE!

SZIASZTOK SZERVUSZTOK HELLOSZTOK JO REGELT JO NAPOT JO ESTET!
This week has been so fast. So fast. So fast. We have just been going and going and never stopping! It has been such a good week!
So on my last P-day I tried a lock with a key that I had found and I broke the lock. Oh my gosh it sucked so bad. I hated it. I broke it completely. It was embarrassing and also, just the most stupid moment ever. It was the worst.
The other day I was on the bus and I filled out a paper wrong and I got a ticket. Yay for fines! Said no one ever. So I had to pay the fine. I did. Woohoo!
The other day we were tracting and this woman said; "Tiszteletem" which means, " I reverence/respect/worship him." It was pretty cool. Whoop for formalization!
Same day different place we were tracting. We pass a lady piling wood into her basement. I felt like we should go back and help. So we go back and I am like, "Segithetunk? (Can we help) and she was like,".....nem......!"(NO). SO AWKWARD.
So yeah this email is super lame! Sorry. (It is just a smidge better than the post card he sent to our Bishop this week. It read; "Bishop, I hope this will sufice! Love Elder Neely.") I hope you all have the best of weeks!
        Sok szeretettel,
            Neely Elder
Fall is here! Beautiful!

We went bobsledding as a district on P-day. That was fun!
Almost ran over Giacalone Elder!

This week we had a service project for a widow lady. She lives in a small village called Harka. We shoveled at least 4 tons of MANURE!!! It was good to serve, but 4 tons of Manure. I thought I would get out of the semi-annual manure spreading festivities. NOT SO APPARANTLY! (Levi loves to spell this word this way)
This place is beautiful!

Sister Brown in the garden

The lady we were helping was very grateful. She fed us a traditional
Hungarian meal and we left her a Book of Mormon.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA JAJ.
Seems like the annual hunting season has stayed about the same, ugye? Oh my goodness I am dying. I mean, I know that must have sucked, but it sounds so funny hearing it like this. Oh my goodness. Hunting is always an adventure with us!
Okay, so I have to write a list again, because I have all sorts of crap to talk about today. And by crap, I mean really cool things actually :)

      1. So now we are in suits forever! Just kidding only until April. So that is fun. It isn't too bad.
      2. So this week Giacalone Elder was sick (ne felj, he is okay now) so de Vries Elder and I made him Chicken Noodle soup and then took it to their apartment. On the way we got some pretty weird looks as we were carrying a pot full of flaming chicken noodle soup. Some people also asked us questions. One man said, " My young gentlemen, what did you all cook tonight?". LOL people call us their boys or young gentlemen all the time.
      3. de Vries Elder and I took this bus and a really, really, large woman got on the bus and before she could sit down, the bus just went and she fell over and rolled (I repeat, rolled) down the bus. de Vries Elder helped push her back up ( another lady and I tried to help, but to rather no avail). It was a nice opportunity to serve.
      4. Speaking of busses. We have been using the #2 bus a lot this week. So much so that the bus driver and the people that usually use that bus have started to recognize us. Another unique thing about this bus is that the people who use it totally know each other and they have this little...club. We want in SO BAD. So we are trying our hardest to get into the Bacsi and Neni #2 Bus Club. We hope for our success.
     5. Ran into Steel Guitar Man again. I love that guy. He is just so cool. This time he said, " Szabadsag. Az en!" Which translates to, "Freedom that's me!"
     6. This Thursday was my sixth month mark. HOLY COW MI CSODA WHERE IS THE TIME. WHERE DID IT GO. WHAT IS THIS. So yeah. That was crazy. A fourth of my mission. Down the drain. Gone.
     7. So we are teaching this guy and the other day we tracted into his house. OMG IT WAS SO FUNNY/AWKWARD. We laughed really hard then ran away. LOL.
     8. Ran into our first uber drunk bacsi. He really liked to grab our arms and tell us how nice we were. It was...nice?
     9. The other day this random Austrian Family pulled over and just chatted with us. That was nice. Sometimes I forget there are other places with church members, you know?
   10. The other day whilst tracting, we were walking along and we found wild puppies. Not even joking. They came out of the forest and played with us for like ten minutes. It was adorable, but also terrifying. I totally thought they were going to kill us.
    11. After this puppy incident, we went and got Langos which is basically scones. And in there everyone was really interested in what our name badges were and what we did etc. Then this man asks us if we teach people how to pray. And we replied that we did. Then he was like, okay, pray right now. So I was like...um...well..and I started to explain how we pray and then he starts praying at me in Arabic and Latin...WHAT THE CRAP?? It was so weird.
    12. This Saturday we went to Szekesfehervar for a baptism! de Vries Elder had taught the man getting baptized so we went to see the baptism.  It was super great! He is such a nice man. Super awesome volt.
    13. This last P-Day we went on a hike to a watch tower. It was cool. I will send pictures.
    14. So on the way back from Szekesfehervar, we stopped by a member's grandma's house. She insisted we call her Oma. She is the coolest woman ever. Best neni ever. I don't even know how to explain, she was just so dang funny!
    15. Oh hahaha I spoke this week in church! I think it went pretty well. I made a lot of jokes and everyone laughed about them, so that was nice hahaha. It went well I think.
    16. During church we got to talk in Primary! SO MUCH FUN. We only have one primary kid, but it was so much fun just being there. I miss Primary SO BAD. Also, I don't know if I ever said this, but please tell the Primary kids thank you for the letters that I got! They made my day! I am so late on that, bocs!
Well that was my week! I hope your next week will be good! I love you all so much and I am so glad to be here and I just love you all so much :) I hope everything is well with everyone!
       Sok szeretettel,
            Neely Elder
P.S. The reason we are emailing on Tuesday is because there is a little mini transfer this week, but all of us are staying the same, so no worries! :)

One Forth of my Mission Gone!

We found this nice secluded lake. I DIDN'T EVER KNOW IT EXISTED!
Szervusztok!
It sounds like you have all had a wonderful Sunday! We did too. Church was good and it felt really good to be back into the normal swing of things. Huzzah for normalcy!
I am glad that Nanny and Aunt Jan got to come down and I am glad that you all had fun without me! :( LOL/ JK, but it does sound fun. I will be looking for the letter....we will see how that goes. Speaking of letters, I sent one to you with a lot of JANK (as we would say here) in it. So the envelopes here pay for all shipping and postage and all that jazz and they don't have a weight limit, so I sent A LOT. Hopefully it makes it.  Be looking for it...for like two weeks LOL. Also, I GOT YOUR PACKAGE! THERE WERE REESE'S OMG THAT WAS THE GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD. Seriously, I about cried it was so good. Thank you so much for that, and for the comfy new shirt! I sleep in it, because it is so comfortable.
Speaking of clothes: So this week we went into Budapest for interviews with President Smith. The train leaves Sopron at 6:00 am. Yea for early morning train rides. So we got into Budapest at like 8:45.  Our interviews were at like 1:00 pm, so we had some extra time. So we went and I bought my winter coat! Yay for warmth! It is so classy and warm. I forgot to take a picture of it, so that will have to come later. Then we had interviews and I got to chat with Elder Mullen :) It was fun. That is also where I got your package! So yay for the Budapest trips!
This Sunday was Fast Sunday for us and all the missionaries in Sopron fasted together for our investigators and for our families and it was great. I love the missionaries here and I love the people here. I love Sopron so much. So much it hurts. I love the people I get to teach and the people that I get to call my friends. I love them all so much.
This week has been busy in a rather weird way.  Because we had our interviews in Budapest and Zone training in
Gyor, we kind of had two days full of train rides, but we still managed to have a pretty successful week :) We were able to teach people and work on finding people to teach. So yay for working hard!
If you can hardly believe it will soon be six months (three days to be exact) I AM FREAKING OUT SO HARD CORE. I JUST GOT HERE WHAT IS THIS CRAP. I JUST GOT SET APART, WHY IS A FORTH OF MY MISSION GONE? WHERE? WHERE IS IT? WHAT IS THIS? Seriously, it is so strange. President and I started talking about it and it trips both of us out. This time has FLOWN by. Especially this transfer. I feel like I have been with de Vries Elder for like three days. I don't know. Time is weird.
I miss my nieces and nephews so much! I hope they remember me! Show them pictures or something so I don't freak them out when I come home.
I love you all so much. I am so grateful to be here in Hungary. I am so grateful to be able to serve here in Sopron. It is a wonderful city and the people have a very special place in my heart. I love them so much. I love this place so much. I didn't ever think I could love like this, but I do. I can. The Lord has blessed me in ways I never considered necessary or possible. I am so blessed to serve as a representative of Jesus Christ. I am so honored to beat the title of "Missionary" or rather "Misszionarius".
I promise that if you pray, if you exercise the faith and pray, if you act, that Heavenly Father will bless you with an answer. He knows how to comfort you and how to give you solace Fun fact: Missions are hard.  I have had rough days.  I have had difficult times. Sometimes being a missionary isn't fun, sometimes it sucks, but no matter what has happened or what is wrong or what is difficult, every time I pray for help, He has given it to me. He hasn't taken away the difficulty, but He has given me the strength, courage, and ability to continue on.
I love you all so much. I pray for you every day. Vigazz a magatokra!
          Sok szeretettel,
                 Neely Elder
The fog is still in Sopron!
The fog with a flash!
We almost missed our train out of Budapest. So the only seat
left were in first class. They are like Harry Potter train seats!
It was so cool!
This week I have been quoted rather often for the weird things
I say. Yes. That still happens.

General Confrence!

Szervusztok!
This week has been good! We have been working on visiting more ot the Less Active Members this week.  It has been really fun and it has been an uber nice break from the constant rejection of talking to people on the street or straight up tracting, so that is nice.
This week I went on splits with Giacalone Elder! It was fun to just talk to him and kind of completely catch up on our adventures.  It is fun serving with him. I hope to stay with him and in this city and with de Vries Elder for another transfer, but I think I may be getting transfered this time :( We will see.
Gen Con Party!
General Confrence. Gen Con. Goodness gracious. It was so good! I feel like the Lord was specifically talking to me. It was so good. We had a good time and because the Browns are here, I got to see it in English!! Huzzah for understanding! It was good.
This week has just been good. It was a little difficult. A lot of our programs dogged and we didn't find much "success", but I feel like we did accomplish good this week, if not only in ourselves.
The language is coming. Slowly, but coming. Nowadays I can get by for the most part with normal everyday tasks and with talking with people, so yay for level ups!
Our investigators are doing well. We have been working on getting some new people to teach and huzzah! We found some! Yay!
Well. That is probably about it. Oh wait! So we love the other companionship in Sopron. They are great. So the other day, we came home and found all of our furniture in a stack with a note that basically said, "We love you guys! DRANK!" That last part is an inside joke. REVENGE WILL BE SO SWEET.
I miss you all so much and I hope that everyone is okay. I love you all so much. So much. Everyone that is reading this. I love you so much. I am so grateful to serve the Lord. I am grateful to be doing something hard.
      Have a beautiful day!
              Sok szeretettel,
                  Neely Elder
P.S. I don't know why my pictures from last week didn't send, so I am sending them for both weeks. I know it seems like a lot :)
The fog has arrived here in Sopron!

We went to find a new investigator, and found this
at the top of a really tall building instead.
Uber cool/slightly creepy.
Matching bacsi hats! Yay for comp items!
de Vries Elder
Splits with the Giac-ster! We found a T.V.
The other Elders pulled a prank on us!
